About us

A rather enthusiastic bunch of teachers, governors and parents of Christ Church School in Hanham, are running the Bristol 10K!

The Friends of Christ Church is a non-profit organisation, raising money to benefit the pupils of Christ Church CE VC Primary School in Hanham, Bristol. We are an elected committee of members supporting the school and its community.

Our mission as volunteers is to help build on the school community and raise funds.

The money we raise goes towards projects that benefit the school, such as improving equipment and resources available to the children. The money raised this year will go towards the redevelopment of the playground and field, creating more opportunities for creative play for all year groups. 

The events we host contribute to the health and mental wellbeing of the children and their families, and brings the school community together.
